In case the warehouse has limited stock :
Don’t send more stock to the ‘best-performing store’. Send instead limited stock where you have the best chance of selling the particular SKU.

Give stock without starving stores as much as possible.

For instance, let’s say that the total stock required is 10 pieces across all the stores, but only 5 pieces are available in the warehouse.
Instead of sending all the required stock to the best-performing store and starving all the others, do the below-working
– The best-performing store might already have 10 pieces in the store
– Another store may have no stock at all and still making decent sales
– Prioritise stock to the store which has the least amount of stock compared to the target levels
– Give the least amount of stock in these priority stores to ensure that all stores in the cluster have at least 33% stock, once that is done, try filling all the stores to 67% and only then try filling the remainder

So coming back to our example:
– Give 3 pieces to Store which is in stock out
– Give 1 piece each to the other stores
